Head of Global Product Architecture (Bilingual)

Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Global Product Architecture (PA) to lead our Global Product Architecture team. You will be reporting to Head of Department, managing a global team about 10~20 people.

You will be responsible for building a high-performing cross-country team while maintaining technical depth to guide product decision, challenge solutions and delegate tasks to the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for complex Product Architecture and AI solution challenges, providing root-cause analysis and resolution for model and product performance issues.
• Lead AI model evaluation and optimisation, establishing practical methodologies for performance monitoring, identifying gaps and translating evaluation results into improvement initiatives.
• Build strong technical expertise across AI Rudder’s technology stack, particularly NLU, ASR, LLM and conversational/voice AI, and assess emerging AI technologies for product application.
• Translate business and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, while reviewing and challenging proposed architectures to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product capabilities.
• Identify recurring technical challenges across markets and turn them into standardised solutions, best practices and reusable frameworks.
• Partner with R&D, Product Delivery, Customer Success and Commercial teams on complex enterprise use cases, including customer-facing technical discussions and product demonstrations.
• Lead and develop the global Product Architecture team, setting clear objectives, ownership and execution priorities across markets.
• Optimise resource allocation and workload across countries, ensuring the right expertise is deployed against the highest-priority business and customer needs.
• Drive team productivity and execution, using effective delegation, capacity planning and performance monitoring while avoiding excessive dependency on the leader for day-to-day technical decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years working experience as an AI Product Architecture or NLP/ASR Data Specialist, with minimum of 2 years of experience in Managerial position.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, computer sciences, or any relevant academic background.
• Strong experience and knowledge of AI model optimization and translating technical concepts into practical product solutions (good logical sense).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, given the role required to collaborate with stakeholders globally.
• Comfortable with business travels.
• Proven experience in establishing structure, prioritising work and delegate effectively.
