AI Rudder Founder and CEO Teng Ren Named to Fortune China’s 2026 40 Under 40

Sep 25, 2026

AI Rudder is proud to announce that its Founder and CEO, Teng Ren, has been named to Fortune China’s 2026 40 Under 40 list, which recognizes influential young business leaders shaping the future of business and technology in China.
The recognition reflects his journey as a technology entrepreneur and his leadership in building AI Rudder into a global company delivering multilingual conversational AI solutions across international markets.

From Language Technology to Global Entrepreneurship

Teng Ren’s interest in technology began during his school years, when he received a silver medal in China’s National Olympiad in Informatics. He subsequently joined the ACM program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and later received the National University of Singapore EMBA Overseas Entrepreneur Scholarship.

Before founding AI Rudder, he co-founded CooTek, where he led the development of the company’s core language models and contributed to its international expansion. CooTek later listed on the New York Stock Exchange, marking an important milestone in his career in language technology and entrepreneurship.

Building AI Rudder for Global Markets

In 2019, Teng Ren founded AI Rudder with a vision to help businesses communicate with their customers more effectively through multilingual AI. Under his leadership, AI Rudder has developed a comprehensive conversational AI portfolio encompassing voice recognition, multilingual language models, intelligent quality assurance, and agent assistance. Its solutions help enterprises automate and improve customer interactions across service, collections, sales, and other operational use cases.

AI Rudder has since expanded into more than 20 markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Indonesia served as one of the company’s first entry points into emerging international markets, helping AI Rudder gain valuable experience in addressing diverse languages, customer expectations, regulatory environments, and business practices.

This international expansion has shaped AI Rudder’s approach to combining advanced technology with local market knowledge. The company works closely with local teams and clients to ensure its solutions reflect the languages, communication styles, and operational requirements of each market.

“Working across different markets has shown us that language technology needs to account for more than language itself. Customer expectations, business processes, and local teams all play a role in how the technology is applied. These experiences continue to influence how we build AI Rudder,” said Teng Ren.

Continuing AI Rudder’s Global Journey

Teng Ren’s inclusion in Fortune China’s 2026 40 Under 40 represents an important milestone for both him and AI Rudder. It recognizes his continued work in language technology and entrepreneurship while highlighting AI Rudder’s progress in bringing multilingual conversational AI to enterprises worldwide.

AI Rudder will continue investing in its technology, strengthening its local capabilities, and expanding its international presence to help businesses deliver more efficient, consistent, and locally relevant customer experiences.
