Business Strategy & Operations Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy & Planning

Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute company-wide business strategies.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.

Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and measurable initiatives.

Support annual planning, OKRs, and business reviews.

2. Strategic Projects & PMO

Lead high-impact cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through execution.

Coordinate stakeholders across departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Establish project governance, milestones, risk management, and executive reporting.

Track project performance and drive accountability across teams.

3. Business Operations Excellence

Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.

Design scalable workflows, SOPs, and operational frameworks to improve efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline business operations.

4. Data Analysis & Business Insights

Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.

Analyze operational, financial, and commercial data to support decision-making.

Prepare executive reports and business recommendations based on data insights.

Identify risks, trends, and operational bottlenecks.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

Serve as the bridge between leadership and functional teams.

Facilitate alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations.

Drive communication and execution of strategic priorities.

Support organizational change and business transformation initiatives.

6. Business Growth & Expansion

Support new market expansion initiatives.

Conduct feasibility studies and business case analyses.

Evaluate strategic partnerships and operational readiness.

Participate in fundraising preparation and investor-related strategic projects when required.

7. Executive Support

Prepare executive presentations, board materials, and business updates.

Assist leadership in strategic decision-making.

Conduct ad hoc business analysis and special projects assigned by senior management.

Requirements

Qualifications：

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

MBA is a plus.

Experience：

5–8 years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Management Consulting, PMO, Corporate Strategy, or Chief of Staff roles.

Experience in technology, SaaS, AI, or high-growth startup environments is highly preferred.

Consulting experience (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big Four Strategy, etc.) is a strong advantage.

Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
