What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment for Commercial functions. Build strong talent pipelines in the competitive AI and SaaS talent market while delivering an excellent candidate experience.
Strategic HR Partnership: Partner closely with Commercial leaders to translate business goals into effective people strategies. Advise on organization design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, and people-related decisions across Commercial functions.
Performance and Compensation: Drive OKR/KPI cycles and performance review processes. Partner with business leaders and HR leadership on performance calibration, incentive plans, sales commission frameworks where applicable, and compensation-related initiatives.
Organization Development and Culture: Design and enhance onboarding programs to accelerate new hire success. Support leadership development, team effectiveness, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives as the Commercial organization continues to scale.
Employee Relations and Compliance: Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment legislation and company policies. Maintain accurate HR data, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years of HR experience, including both recruitment and HRBP responsibilities
- Experience in a technology, SaaS, internet, or startup environment, with a strong understanding of how commercial teams operate
- Proven experience hiring commercial roles in fast-paced environments
- Ability to operate independently as the sole local HR representative while partnering with regional and global HR teams
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and employee relations practices
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use HR metrics to support decisions
- Full fluency in English
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with structured performance management frameworks
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in HR workflows
- Fluency in Mandarin
