As we continue to grow our team in Malaysia, we are looking for a proactive and resourceful Freelancer Recruiter to support hiring across key business functions.

Working Arrangement: at least 3 business days per week;

Working Period: at least 6 months

Can be onsite or hybrid or remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Freelancer Recruiter to join our People team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, partnering closely with hiring managers, and helping us attract strong talent in a fast-growing AI business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on recruitment, stakeholder management, and building a strong candidate experience. You will work closely with local HBRP and regional business teams to support hiring needs across technical, commercial, and corporate roles

What You’ll do

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including role intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and talent mapping

Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team prioritie

Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, talent communities, and other creative channel

Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring need

Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment proces

Coordinate interviews and ensure timely communication between candidates and hiring team

Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaign

Track recruitment progress and maintain accurate hiring data and report

Share market insights, talent trends, and hiring recommendations with stakeholder

Support recruitment process improvement to increase efficiency and quality of hire

Requirements

What We’re Looking

Forat least 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally in tech, SaaS, AI, or a fast-paced business environment

Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes

Strong sourcing skills, especially through LinkedIn and other online channels

Good understanding of the Malaysia talent market

Ability to partner confidently with hiring managers and business stakeholders

Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skill

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple roles at the same time

Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a growing, fast-changing environment

Fluent in English; additional languages are plus
